A Gruffalo visits Gurnard School...

I had to blog here to post these amazing pictures of a Gruffalo and backdrop created by an incredibly talented parent at Gurnard Primary School, Jane Watson...

She had even made all the bits detachable... poisonous wart, purple prickles, knobbly knees, the lot!

The children spent a week looking at the story of The Gruffalo by the amazing Julia Donaldson.

I have told Jane she should think about making these resources for sale... every school, library, etc should have one!

The best one is how she made them... from things she had in her garage, and lining paper! WOW...

Without the support of parents like Jane it would be hard for schools to provide these types of resources. Although, I have to say that Gurnard does a fantastic job!

Of course, any of you who have taken a look at Gurnard's Book of Delights will realise how talented the children at this school are.

So, if you feel like having a look... check out the book so that I can make more lovely donations to provide the school with even more Goodies!

Thanks for reading,

Vanessa and...

THE GRUFFALO! :)
